Gayatri Rajapatni was the wife of Raden Wijaya, founder of Majapahit. Mother to Queen Tribhuana Wijayatunggadewi. The guiding force behind two reigns. A mentor to Gajah Mada and Hayam Wuruk.
 
When she had given everything to the kingdom, she became a bhikuni. And was deified as Prajnaparamita — the perfection of wisdom.
 
Jasmine and lotus — One awakens. One stills. Together they hold the body in that rare state: alert, and at peace.
 
We named this scent AUM — the opening sound of the Gayatri Mantra, still chanted daily in Bali. And Prajnaparamita — because the statue believed to bear her face is the closest image we have of who she was.
